Lagos Father Seeks Justice After Death of Nine-Month-Old Twins Following Immunisation

A Lagos-based father, Samuel Alozie, popularly known as Promise Samuel on TikTok, has called for justice following the death of his nine-month-old twin sons, Timothy and Testimony, who reportedly died about 24 hours after receiving routine immunisations at the Ajangbadi Primary Health Centre in Ojo Local Government Area of Lagos State.

The case drew widespread attention after Alozie shared a TikTok video showing the bodies of his twins in separate body bags, alleging that the immunisation administered at the government health facility caused their deaths.

According to Alozie, he took the twins for their scheduled immunisation on the morning of December 24, 2025. He said the children became unusually weak shortly after the injections, developed high temperatures, and were unable to eat or play.

He stated that the nurse advised him to administer paracetamol and bathe the children to reduce the fever. Despite following these instructions, the twins reportedly died on the morning of December 25, barely a day after the immunisation.

Alozie alleged that the health centre may have administered expired, fake, or excessive doses of vaccines, claiming that his children had been healthy prior to the visit. He also alleged that a different nurse, not the one who usually attended to the twins, administered the injections that day.

Further raising concerns, Alozie claimed that the nurse also gave the infants deworming medication without his consent or prior notification, questioning why such medication would be given to nine-month-old babies without parental approval.

The health centre reportedly suggested that the deaths may have been caused by food-related bacterial infection, an explanation Alozie strongly rejected. He insisted that the children had been eating the same food since infancy without complications and had no prior history of serious illness.

Expressing distrust in the investigation process, Alozie said he feared that the autopsy results could be manipulated, as the health facility involved is government-owned and the investigation is being handled by government officials. He appealed publicly for legal and human rights support, stating that he lacks the financial capacity to pursue the case on his own.

“I need justice for my children,” he said, adding that public support was his only means of ensuring transparency and accountability.

As of the time of reporting, the Lagos State Ministry of Health and the Lagos State Primary Health Care Board have not issued an official statement on the incident or released the findings of the autopsy.
