A heartwarming love story has gone viral online after a lady shared how her friendship with her best friend blossomed into a lifelong commitment.
The lady, identified as @jennygodswill on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that exactly one year ago, she paid a visit to her best friend who was going through heartbreak after being dumped by his girlfriend.
According to her, the visit was purely to console him during the difficult period. However, what started as emotional support gradually turned into something deeper.
In a now-viral post accompanied by photos of the couple in matching outfits, she wrote:
“Exactly 1 year ago I went to visit my best friend to console him because his then girlfriend had just served him hot breakfast 🤭🤣. Next month I’m getting married to my best friend.”
The post has since attracted widespread attention, amassing nearly 800,000 views and sparking mixed reactions from social media users.
