A young Nigerian woman’s plans for Detty December were derailed when her tailor attempted to replicate Veekee James’ design but produced a subpar garment.
Social media user @ayhairss used TikTok to post a dismal outfit that she had received from her tailor after allowing them to correct previous mistakes.
In the one-minute video, the woman laughed hysterically and incredulously displayed the outfit without uttering a word.
Captioning the video, she wrote, “POV: You decided to give tailor one last chanceThe outfit has since been deemed humorous by many, who have compared it to the occult costumes worn by well-known Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo in his films. Some noticed that it looked similar to a design made by Veekee James, a well-known designer.
