With an increasing number of reported cases of housekeepers and employees stealing items and goods belonging to their employers, one wonders if there are still people in this country who can be trusted with one’s property.
A security guard apprehended a woman after she stole a large number of provisional items from her boss in Magodo, Lagos State. The lady was caught in the video, which is now circulating on social media, with milk cans, milo, chocolates, a Titus cartoon, and oil rubber, to name a few items.
The security guard, who was speaking in Yoruba, was heard saying this is too much, and the lady, who was also speaking in Yoruba, pleaded with him to return the goods because she would lose her job if the boss found out about her actions.
The video of the incident elicited a wide range of reactions on social media, with many condemning her actions and others pleading with the security guard to let her go.
