A Nigerian man who met a woman at a restaurant and took her phone number has revealed the message she sent him on WhatsApp afterward.
The post drew widespread reactions as many people were shocked by the lady’s response, which showed her expressing anger over his behaviour.
The man revealed that he had simply collected the lady’s number at a restaurant and message her afterwards.
She told him that what he did was inappropriate and made it clear she could never date someone who acted that way, saying he carried a broke energy.
The man, identified as @henry_iz7, posted the exchange and narrated what happened in his caption.
The TikTok description stated: “I collect a girl’s number at a restaurant.”
In the clip, the lady questioned why he was texting her even though he couldn’t pay for her meal after collecting her number, despite seeing that she was also buying food.
She said she expected him to pay since he had taken her number, adding that he had already failed the first impression.

“How may I help you?! I met you in a restaurant and we were buying food together and I gave you my number. Are you not supposed pay for my own as you are paying for your own. But what you did was to pay for only your own. Why are you telling me ‘Hi’? Do you think I can date somebody like you or start something with someone like you with that kind of mentality?! If you’re toasting a girl are you not supposed to sort her bills. I don’t want that kind of broke energy in my side. First impression matters, and your first impression was really bad!”
