Just two days after her husband announced their separation, Elsie Okpocha, the estranged wife of Nigerian comedian/actor Basketmouth, has drawn criticism for a recent social media post.
As VisioTalks had previously reported, the father of two urged the public to respect their privacy as they begin their separate new lives apart on Thursday in a statement posted on his Instagram page.
Just three months prior, on September 14, 2022, Basketmouth celebrated the 44th birthday of his wife but skipped their wedding anniversary on November 6, 2022.
Elsie, who appeared unconcerned by the public statement, spoke on a hot topic regarding women cooking for their boyfriends on her Instagram page.
Cooking for a man while you’re dating is no big deal, according to the comedian’s estranged wife, but a lady needs to know when to stop.
She asserts that a woman needs to be watchful to recognize when a man is abusing her, adding that cooking or performing household duties for a man has no bearing on his decision to marry her.
As some internet users questioned her marriage crash, the video sparked reactions on her page.
