Jamie Foxx, a Hollywood multi-talent, was taken to an Atlanta hospital on Tuesday, April 11, after suffering an undisclosed medical emergency.
According to a statement released by his daughter, Corinne Foxx, the Oscar-winning actor had a “medical complication” that required him to be taken to the hospital.
As recently as Monday, the 55-year-old was in Atlanta filming ‘Back In Action’ with actress Cameron Diaz.
The statement is as follows:
‘’We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday [Tuesday]. Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time.”
