Internet users criticize Tolanibaj for tweeting that men dance in clubs, saying “I can’t believe a DJ tweeted this”

Tolanibaj, a reality TV personality who is now a Disc Jockey, has been subjected to foul language on Twitter because of a tweet she made about men who dance in clubs.

On Tuesday, March 14, Tolanibaj posted a tweet about how she detests men dancing in clubs.

Instead of dancing enthusiastically and appearing razz-matazz, she advised them to sit back, groove to the music, and at least act like they were well off.

Rich men don’t dance in clubs, in Tolanibaj’s opinion, despite the fact that she recently started her career as a disc jockey.

She tweeted,

“I get turned off when a guy dances in the club. Like sit down and pretend to be a big boy.”

Many people weren’t pleased with this and criticized her for making the statement, saying that it didn’t make sense coming from an aspiring DJ.

@ulxma wrote, “This is a wild thing to tweet as a Dj. You’re basically saying you don’t want men to dance to your sets.”

@letter_to_jack wrote, “First DJ that will get turned off because men (who bring a huge chunk of the revenue) are dancing.

So unique, so pure.”

@ibok_ima wrote, “So I go to the club, spend my hard earned money on overpriced drinks (part of which will be used to pay the DJ)

But the DJ says I should sit down and pretend to be a big boy??

Must be Ment or Malaria or a lil bit of both.

I no sha blame you, na the people wey rate you I blame”

@pengmanofficial wrote, “this is an own goal as a DJ

You’re literally saying that when you Dey spin for deck, make guys sit down, make dem no dance.

So your set na for only babes, Oya now.”
