According to a Nigerian influencer who cited reasons for the suggestion, NYSC should start assigning youth corps members to their home states and designating their LGA as their PPA.
He shared this in a post that is currently trending on X (formerly Twitter), in which he presented his proposal and urged the NYSC to think about sending corps members back to their home states.
He suggested assigning corps members to their local government areas (LGAs) in terms of their Places of Primary Assignment (PPA).
His statement reads: “NYSC needs to start posting everyone to their state of origin. Then PPA to your local government. Let it be an opportunity to know your village and your people. The community will protect their own since everyone is a child of the soil.”
