A video circulating online shows an Imo State University lecturer named Dr. Desmond Izunwanne slapping a student.
According to online reports, the student (reported to be female) arrived for lecture wearing mufti rather than their school’s departmental wear.
The man is said to have slapped her despite the fact that she told him she was sick and had just returned from the hospital.
A video that surfaced online shows the lecturer confronting the student and then slapping her.
On several social media platforms, Nigerians have expressed outrage over the video.

Even after explaining to the lecturer, he slapped her repeatedly and forced her and others to kneel down and crawl out of class. This lecturer is married o, if he can display such beastly attitude in public then imagine what his wife is going through at home. The lecturer’s name is ‘Desmond Izunwanne’ .
