“I’m Not a Maid, I’m a Queen” — Nigerian Last Born Goes Viral After Calling Family Meeting

A young Nigerian lady has sparked massive reactions online after a video showed her boldly calling a family meeting to address her concerns with her older siblings.

The clip, shared on TikTok by her sibling @mignonfaith3, captured the last born standing confidently before her brothers and sisters as she openly spoke her mind. Her courage and blunt honesty surprised her siblings and amused viewers, quickly making the video go viral.

During the meeting, the young woman listed several grievances, starting with how her siblings handled financial support. She complained that whenever money was sent to her, it was announced to others, a habit she strongly opposed. According to her, any money sent to her should remain private, stressing that discretion was a sign of maturity.

She also addressed household chores, making it clear she would no longer tolerate being overworked. Declaring that she was not a housemaid or a slave, she insisted that everyone should clean up after themselves. She added that if her siblings wanted her to wash their clothes, they would either have to pay her ₦2,500 per outfit or take them to a dry cleaner.

The outspoken last born further emphasized that she deserved to be treated with respect, boldly describing herself as a “queen.”

Another major point she raised was her future plans. She revealed her desire to further her education abroad, specifically mentioning Canada and the United States as her preferred study destinations.

The video has since generated widespread reactions on social media, with many Nigerians finding her confidence hilarious, relatable, and reflective of unspoken family tensions in many homes.
