A lady has sparked intense reactions across social media after making a controversial remark about Toyota Camry drivers, saying she would rather board a keke (tricycle) than ride in the popular sedan.
In a video that has since gone viral on X (formerly Twitter), the woman openly mocked men who drive Toyota Camry, describing the vehicle as unimpressive and not worth her attention. She went as far as praising keke, claiming they are “worth millions,” while dismissing the Camry as overrated.
In her words, she said:
“Y’all driving Toyota Camry make una stop that rubbish. I prefer to enter keke than to enter Toyota Camry. All those Toyota Camry that you think it’s a type of car, stop that rubbish.”
Her remarks quickly drew attention due to her harsh tone and choice of words, which many viewers described as disrespectful and unnecessary.
She further insulted men who own or drive the vehicle, adding:
“Any guy that drives Toyota Camry and stop me that I should enter, I’ll pour you spit. Wetin do keke? As man na Toyota Camry you dey drive. You no get shame you dey drive Toyota Camry. Toyota boys don’t try me o.”
The clip spread rapidly online, triggering mixed reactions from Nigerians. While some users laughed it off as clout-chasing or sarcasm, many others criticized her for belittling people based on the type of car they drive, calling the comments illogical and attention-seeking.
