A 26-year-old woman has sparked massive reactions online after an interview video of her went viral on social media.
During the interview, the young lady revealed that she is currently single because she does not believe in love. According to her, love has lost its meaning, and she cannot imagine building a romantic relationship based on it.
When asked about marriage, she stated firmly that she has no intention of ever getting married.
She explained that as the firstborn child in her family, she has carried responsibilities from a very young age, constantly taking care of others. Because of this lifelong burden, she now wants to spend the rest of her life being “selfish” in a healthy way and prioritizing herself.
Speaking on motherhood, the lady said she believes she would make a great mother but has chosen not to have children. She explained that she loves her unborn children too much to bring them into the world, stressing that parenting goes far beyond financial provision.
According to her, raising children requires emotional presence, time, sacrifice, and constant attention — things she no longer has the strength to give.
She added that the only type of relationship she is open to is a partnership, not a traditional marriage.
In her words:
“I’m not in a relationship because I don’t believe in love. I don’t want to get married. As the firstborn, I’ve spent my whole life taking care of people, and now I want to focus on myself. I’ve given too much already and I don’t have the strength to keep pouring into others. I know I would make a great mother, but I love my unborn children too much to bring them into this world. Motherhood requires emotional presence, sacrifice, and time — not just money. I’m only interested in a partnership, not marriage.”
