‘I Sincerely Apologize,’ Wizkid Says After Absence From Ghana Concert

Nigerian singer Ayo Balogun, better known as Wizkid, has apologized to his fans for missing the Ghana concert over the weekend.

Previously, VisioTalks reported that show promoters held a Wizkid live concert in Accra

However, the singer did not attend the event, leaving his fans and music fans disappointed.

In response to the singer’s absence, many of his fans took to social media to criticize him and express their displeasure with how the event unfolded.

Wizkid apologized for not attending the concert in a statement posted on his Twitter page on Sunday night, stating that he would not act in such a manner unless there was a serious reason for it.

The ‘Ojuelegbe’ singer stated that he does not make fun of his fans and that he had prepared, planned, and looked forward to attending the show but had to make a last-minute decision.

The singer explained that his absence was due to safety and production issues that prevented him from putting on the high-quality show that his fans deserve.

He also stated that he and his team would plan another show for his Ghanaian fans.

He composed: “Love you Ghana. Ghana is a country I hold so dear to my heart, first and foremost I wanna apologize to all my fan! Y’all know I would never do anything, without a serious reasoning behind it. My brand is something I don’t joke with! I sincerely apologize, to everyone who made the effort to come out for me last night. I was charged, looking forward to doing this show.

“However, please understand that every decision I made co-sided with honoring my fans and would only make a drastic decision like this because it was the right thing to do and I had to. Unfortunately, up until the day of this show, there continued to be safety and production issues that prevented me from putting on a high-quality show that my fans deserve.
