A woman recently shared a humorous yet touching experience from her childbirth, recounting how her husband panicked while she was undergoing a caesarean section.
According to her story, the incident occurred as she lay on the operating table preparing for delivery. She briefly closed her eyes to pray, which triggered an unexpected reaction from her husband.
“During my C-section, I closed my eyes to pray… hubby shouted, ‘Haa! Don’t go, babe!’ I could hear the fear in his voice,” she recounted. “I yelled back, ‘I’m not going anywhere, ode, I’m just trying to pray! Nothing missing, nothing broken.’ Everyone burst out laughing.”
The tense moment quickly shifted into laughter among the medical team, easing the atmosphere in the operating room.
She added that her husband’s dramatic reaction, while amusing, ultimately became a source of comfort and distraction during the procedure.
“I told the doctor, ‘I said don’t let him in, he’s going to distract us.’ But the doctor said, ‘That’s exactly what I need him to be doing — distracting you and gisting,’” she said.
The story has since drawn reactions online, with many praising the couple’s bond and their ability to find humour even in tense situations. It also highlighted how emotional support can play a crucial role during childbirth.
