Afrobeats musician Wizkid, real name Ayo Balogun, stated that he would have been a football player if he had not become a musician.
He participated in football at his school, but he gave up the sport because he was impatient and did not like getting up early.
In a video interview that @itzbasito posted on X, Wizkid discussed his footballing buddies who hang out with him but do not smoke or drink because they have to get up early for training, which he finds admirable.
Additionally, he revealed that he does not travel with bodyguards because he thinks of his management group as family and Sunday Are in particular as a father figure.
