Ciata Jolie, a Nigerian model and make-up artist, has revealed that she was duped by someone she trusted enough to do business with, prompting her to seek help.
In a video posted on her Instagram page, the businesswoman admitted that she had lost all of her life savings in less than a month.
She had been saving for many years, and the financial loss this year has been difficult for her. She stated that her plan was to buy some land and return to her hometown with the money she had saved by December 2022.
Ciata claims she found a plot of land in her state and contacted the owner, who claimed to have inherited it from his father.
She claimed that the man assured her that he was trustworthy and had taken all necessary steps to live a moral life. He persuaded Ciata to make an initial payment of $4 million before he signed the necessary paperwork.
Regrettably, she paid 400,000 before beginning any work on the land, 350,000 of which was the development charge.
As she was about to leave the village, she received a phone call from someone claiming to be the owner of the same property. The news upset her, and to make matters worse, the other person who claimed ownership painted a skull-like figure on the fence to discourage onlookers.
The make-up artist claimed that she paid $4 million for a plot of land that had already been sold, and she later discovered that the con artist she paid was well-known for these types of land sales.
She talked about her experience and advised others not to be misled by religious or other false beliefs.

fast forward to 2021 I made a lot more than that..well I decided to invest in my self this time by traveling abroad for study.keep pushing dear. Sha use the pain wake up at night and pray. It will really take some one who genuinely works for there money to understand your pain. Sha be strong ❤️& 💡
