Gunmen storm the INEC office in Imo and declare that there would be no elections in Biafra land

One person was killed in an attack by unidentified gunmen on the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) office in Imo State, believed to be militants from the Eastern Security Network (ESN).

The 20 or so gunmen traveled in a blue Lexus and an ash-colored Highlander.

The gunmen attacked the INEC headquarters at the Ahiazu Local Government Secretariat dressed in ESN garb in pursuit of workers handing out Permanent Voter Cards, or PVCs.
