Fuel Subsidy: Nigerian man testifies about using cooking gas to power a generator (Video)

In the midst of the removal of the fuel subsidy that gave birth to the new exorbitant price of gasoline, a Nigerian man appears to have switched to powering his generator with cooking gas.

A viral social media video captured the testimony of a man who chose to power his generator with gas rather than petrol.

Because of the high cost of petrol, which exceeds N500 per litre, many people have converted their generators to run on gas, which is less expensive than fuel. This is made possible by a device that converts the fuel combustion mechanism of the generation’s engine to be powered by cooking gas.

The man explains in the video that he was able to achieve an uninterrupted power supply for approximately 12 hours using only 2KG of gas.
