Apostle Johnson Suleman, the founder of Omega Fire Ministries, has finally responded to actress Halima Abubakar’s recent letter of apology.
Suleman responded by sharing his thoughts on the matter and asserting that memory loss is not the same as apology.
“You all stop calling my phone,” Suleman wrote on his X handle following the viral success of Abubakar’s letter of apology. Forgiveness is not memory loss! Status quo maintained!”
Abubakar had expressed regret for disparaging Suleman, acknowledging that he had spread lies and damaged his reputation.
The drama started in 2022 when Abubakar accused Suleman of misconduct, sparking a protracted public dispute.
Recently, Nollywood actress Halima Abubakar filed a lawsuit against Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) National President Emeka Rollas, requesting N30 billion in damages.
The lawsuit stems from allegations that Rollas made statements detrimental to her reputation and career.
In her filing, Abubakar claims that these remarks have caused her significant emotional distress and financial loss. She is requesting payment for the harm done as well as the effect it had on her career prospects in the motion picture business.
The lawsuit is related to an event that occurred on October 17, 2024, when the AGN announced Abubakar’s indefinite suspension from the guild via Rollas’ social media account.
The suspension was implemented because of claims that Abubakar spread false information about Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN) members.
She is specifically charged with disseminating rumors about alleged extramarital affairs involving prominent personalities in the entertainment sector.
