A wedding reception in Lagos was cut short yesterday, April 7, after a fire broke out at the venue.
The wedding reception was in full swing when chaos broke out at Yard 158, an event venue in Oregun, Lagos.
When it came time for the toast, the event planners set off firecrackers, but the flames quickly spread to the decorations strung throughout the venue.
The guests attempted to put out the fire, but it quickly spread.
Fortunately, no one was injured in the fire.

I’ve attended a wedding where the fireworks caught up the fabric decor around the stage. Luckily it was quickly put off. The smoke from that device choked me and caused me respiratory strain for days. I hate that stuff. I don’t know who made it compulsory for weddings these days. Very unhealthy and hazardous. jarman_the_great_: I was at this event and trust me the fire happened after we had finished the whole ceremony, no one was injured, after the outbreak, the Fire were successfully extinguished, the couples and guest were fine, we had the after party which went very peaceful and awesome, we give all Glory to God for it was success🔥🔥
