An eyewitness has shared Anthony Joshua’s emotional reaction following a tragic car accident in Nigeria that claimed the lives of two of his close friends, Sina Ghami and Latz.
The fatal crash occurred on December 29, 2025, along the Lagos-Ibadan Expressway. Following investigations, the driver involved in the incident, Adeniyi Mobolaji Kayode, has been charged with reckless driving and is scheduled to appear in court on January 20, 2026.
In a video posted on Sky News’ TikTok account, an eyewitness identified as Ajala Yusuf Oluwaseyi described the moment Anthony Joshua arrived at the scene.
“We had to rush down there to see what was happening. He was shocked and couldn’t talk,” Oluwaseyi said.
The tragedy has continued to draw emotional reactions from those close to the victims. A close associate of Latz, identified on Facebook as Ben Hinley, shared a heartfelt audio message expressing how deeply he will miss his friend and highlighting the strong bond they shared.
In the emotional recording, Latz spoke openly about his love and loyalty to Ben, describing him as a brother and someone very close to his heart.
His words read:
“I just want to let you know that deep down in this journey, I found a brother. And I love you, big man.
You are always going to be someone very close to my heart.
And if you need anything, you know I am here. Because if I need anything, you always got my back. You always have my back, and I always have your back. But listen, sleep on it tonight.”
The video capturing the eyewitness account and tributes has since circulated widely online, drawing sympathy and condolences from fans and the public.
