Ex-Chelsea star Victor Moses makes a surprise return to England with his move to Luton Town.

Former Chelsea star Victor Moses has completed a surprise move to Championship side Luton Town.

The 33-year-old, who spent time with Spartak Moscow in Russia, signs a free transfer to Chelsea, where he won the Premier League in the 2016–17 campaign.

Moses said, “I had offers from Europe, but I wanted to stay in England,” expressing his excitement about the relocation.

I’m honoured to be here and ready to work hard for the club.”

He continued by saying that his discussions with Luton’s management persuaded him to join the group on their journey.

Meanwhile, Luton manager Rob Edwards welcomed the signing, noting Moses’ versatility and experience.

“Victor has trained with us and played in a behind-closed-doors match. He’s tactically aware and adds strength to our squad.

“We don’t expect too much too soon, but he’s fit and ready to contribute,” Edwards said.

Moses has had an illustrious career in English football, starting at Crystal Palace before moving to Wigan, where his performances earned him a move to Chelsea.

He won two Europa League titles, the FA Cup, and the Premier League while he was a player at Stamford Bridge.
