On Friday, a fire engulfed a filling station in Abuja, Nigeria’s capital.

At around 7:00 p.m. Nigerian time, the Enyo filling station in the Nigerian capital’s Zone 1, Wuse area went up in flames.

Residents in the area reported hearing a loud explosion before seeing the fire burn.

According to an eyewitness, the fire was started by a petrol tanker parked inside the fuel station.

“It started from the petrol tanker and spread to all the cars parked there,” the witness said, refusing to disclose his name.
