Drama as KCee blasts Flavour for calling him copycat

Famous musician, KCee drags Flavour for refering to him as a copycat after he released a song that is rumoured to be similar to Flavour’s hit track.

The drama began, according to Gistreel, when KCee released a new song that some fans thought was similar to Flavour’s “Doings.”

Following this, Flavour made a slight jab on his Twitter page about someone who was copying too much.

“Copy copy akaria,” he lamented.

Despite the fact that Flavour had not named anyone, KCee used his X page to criticize Flavor harshly.

KCee replies Flavour for calling him a copycat

He acknowledged that he cannot monopolize Igbo music and that the style is not exclusively his own.

He cautioned Flavour to choose his battles wisely, pointing out that they are not on the same level, in a serious tweet.

“BRO!!!!!! We are not on the same level

Pick your Battles carefully.

Stop trying to gatekeep Igbo culture. You’re not a Custodian.
I’ve been in this game before you
It belongs to all.
You dont own this genre of music.
My music celebrates our heritage, and I won’t apologize.
In an ocean of things that matter. You’re like a needle.

People recognize authenticity. I’ll continue celebrating our culture unapologetically.

Spend your energy on success, not diminishing mine.
I’ve never been the type to go head to head, but I’m calling out this bullshit because I won’t be disrespected…

No way… I’ve come too far for anyone to downplay my sweats and hard work

HELL NO!!!!”
