Davido, a Nigerian singer-songwriter and record producer, recently shared on social media the first birthday of his twins.
He posted the news on X, the former Twitter, with the straightforward caption, “👶👶 +1 Alhamdulillah.”
When Davido and his wife Chioma announced the arrival of their twins in October 2023, it caused a lot of happiness to spread both online and offline.
This announcement came just a year after the tragic death of his first child, Ifeanyi.
In a previous interview about fatherhood, Davido reflected on the twins’ arrival, saying, “I remember when they came, everybody was saying, ‘They have twins, blah, blah, blah. It’s gonna be hard.’ But my twins are blessed. They don’t even cry. They’re just calm and growing so fast. It’s just a blessing. Thank God for everything, really.”
Months later, the popular artist took to his social media again to celebrate his twins as they turned one.
