Afrobeat superstar Rema’s remarkable N105 million donation to a Beninese church has received commentary from media personality Daddy Freeze.
According to VISIOTALKS, Rema visited a church where he had attended as a boy and, before departing, gave the institution a N105 million donation to support various initiatives.
Daddy Freeze discussed his thoughts on Rema’s donation on his Instagram page, stating that it was a way for her to give back to the church that had helped his family out financially during hard times.
Freeze voiced the opinion that, given its beneficial influence, the church should be given even more.
His words: “NO, Rema did not GIVE to the Church; He GAVE back to the Church. When his family was going through a rough patch, the Church was there for them financially. He is now returning the favor. There’s a huge difference.
“Why did he give to that particular church? Because when he L0$T his dad, the church opened a shop for his mum. That was part of what helped his folks put food on the table during a difficult period. So unlike you going to sow your seed in church, Rema is taking part of his ‘Harvest’ to those who sowed their seed in him. As far as I’m concerned he should even give them more. God bless the pastor that sowed into his family.”
