Chidimma Adetshina returns to Nigeria after 20 years to compete at Miss Universe Nigeria.

For the upcoming Miss Universe Nigeria pageant, Chidimma Adetshina, a former finalist in Miss South Africa, has traveled to Lagos after a 20-year absence.

Chidimma Adetshina touched down in Lagos from Cape Town on Wednesday, August 21, receiving a warm and regal welcome.

The 23-year-old model, who left Miss South Africa over a disagreement over her nationality, said she was excited to be returning to Nigeria for the first time in 20 years.

Speaking on behalf of Taraba state, Chidimma Adetshina expressed how excited she was to participate in the August 31 Miss Universe Nigeria 2024 pageant as well as to tour the nation while she was there.

Adetshina is a law student in addition to her modeling career, and she plans to pursue her education beyond the pageant.

She expressed her appreciation for the cordial welcome and expressed excitement for her upcoming trip to Nigeria.
