Money bouquets have been identified as a form of naira abuse by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN).
On Friday, CBN announced this via its Twitter account.
Other forms of Naira abuse included spraying, selling, squeezing, and defacing.
As a result, the CBN has urged Nigerians to call its toll-free hotline 08000200200 to report anyone abusing the Naira.
“It is your civic duty to protect the Naira. Report Naira abuse today.#StopNairaAbuse #RespectTheNaira #BePatriotic,” the apex bank tweeted.
