Prior to his December performance at the Afrika Shrine, Nigerian singer-songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, also known as Portable, paid a visit to the ancestral home of Afrobeat musician Fela Anikulapo.
The father of four revealed it on his Instagram page and stated that it was to honor the deceased.
He said, “Came to pay homage to my daddy, December 28 Portable in live concert, come and enjoy what is called entertainment. Akoi one million fans, see you soon @femiakuti, @yeniakuti.”
The singer met Yeni Kuti, a seasoned media personality, and Femi Kuti, the first son of Fela Anikulapo Kuti, during his visit. They were later seen together.
