Recall that Chidimma Vanessa Onwe Adetshina, a South African, participated in Miss South Africa 2024, but South Africans disregarded her because of her Nigerian heritage.

Subsequently, Mia Le Roux, another competitor, was declared the pageant winner.

Her announcement has generated reactions from online users, some of whom have voiced displeasure with the outcome.
