Burna Boy, the well-known Afrobeat singer from Nigeria, Damini Ogulu, established the “Burna Boy Football Academy” in Lagos.
Through an organized training program, this new initiative hopes to aid in the development of African football.
According to reports, the academy is open three days a week, with two hours of instruction available on each of those days.
Recently, videos of the academy’s resources and events have gone viral on the internet, shocking supporters and admirers.
Young football players can be seen practicing on the field with a coach guiding them in the viral video.
Another video captures the players enjoying Burna Boy’s music and celebrating after a successful training session.
The academy serves young football enthusiasts in two age groups: junior boys, 4–15, and senior boys, 16–21, according to its official website.
Training locations are available in Ikoyi, Surulere, Port Harcourt, and Abuja.
