President Muhammadu Buhari has wished Vice President Oluyemi Oluleke Osinbajo a happy 66th birthday.
According to a statement issued on Wednesday by Femi Adesina, President Buhari’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, the President also congratulated the entire Osinbajo family, wishing them many happy returns as their son, husband, and father celebrates another year in good health and sound mind.
He praised the honoree’s contributions to the country as an academic, Attorney-General of Lagos State (1997-2007), and Vice President (2015 till date).
Buhari praised Osinbajo, a pastor with the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), for balancing scholarship, governance, and pastoral work, commending such dedication to the younger generation for whom the number two man serves as a torchbearer.
“President Buhari wishes the Vice President and his family a joyous celebration and continued grace,” the statement said.
