According to reports, a beautiful Nigerian bride died a few hours after her wedding ceremony in Lokoja, the capital of Koji state.
According to reports, the bride, whose identity is unknown, complained about stomach pains during her wedding ceremony on Saturday, April 29.
However, as the pain became more severe, the bride was rushed to the hospital and given a diclofenac injection. Her condition, however, deteriorated, and it was discovered that she had internal bleeding.
She was rushed into the operating room for an emergency surgery, but she did not survive.
A Twitter user shared the story, writing,
“This lady’s wedding took place in Lokoja on 29th April. She was said to be complaining of stomach pains right from the reception, and was given coke to drink when she said she hadn’t eaten all day, the pain persisted when she got back to her parent’s home while receiving prayers/blessings from her parents before conveying her to her husband’s house as tradition required. She was eventually rushed to a private hospital and the doctor on duty administered a diclofenac injection. The situation got worse and she was referred to the Federal medical center where they diagnosed that she had internal bleeding and needed urgent operation.
This beautiful young lady didn’t make it after the operation. What a sad day for the parents and groom. May God help us 🙏”.
