“Boys wey i dey feed say i do ritual,’ Portable responds to a petition written by a former signee

A video of renowned Nigerian singer and songwriter Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has reacted to the revelation that his former signee, Manny Monie, wrote the petition to the police against the singer.

The musician lamented how, despite his good intentions, people continue to treat him poorly. He recently made headlines for attempting to elude arrest at his pub.

He claimed that rather than thinking about how to better themselves, the young people he had provided housing, food, and iPhones were more concerned with finding ways to harm his reputation.

According to Portable, he kicked them out of his house because they were unable to spend their time productively and could only fantasize about themselves.

He claims that his friends are spreading rumors about him performing rituals to generate income.
