A woman has shared a light-hearted Easter holiday incident involving her 9-year-old nephew, leaving many online amused by the child’s unexpected explanation.
According to her, the situation began earlier in the day when she asked the boy to deliver an item to a neighbour. However, confusion set in later that evening when the neighbour insisted she never received anything.
“I told you guys my nephews and nieces came for Easter holiday. This morning, I gave my 9-year-old nephew something to give my neighbor. Fast forward to this evening, the neighbor said she didn’t see anything, and I was confused,” she recounted.
When questioned, the boy confidently maintained that he had completed the task—but admitted he didn’t inform the neighbour directly because she was asleep at the time.
What truly amused many was his reasoning.
“I asked why he didn’t tell her, and he said she was sleeping, but the baby saw me. Guys… the baby is 6 months old,” she added.
The hilarious misunderstanding has since sparked laughter online, with many people sharing similar stories of children innocently mishandling errands—especially during festive periods like Easter, when homes are often busier than usual.
