CCTV footage shows the startling moment a man entered a store and took two iPhones while the salesperson and the owner were sound asleep.
The video, which user @ChuksEricE posted on social media site X (formerly Twitter), depicts the boutique’s interior at the moment of the incident.
The suspect is seen entering the store stealthily in the video, stopping for a moment to gather information.
When he saw that the employees were sleeping, he started looking around the room for valuables.
When he finally saw a charging phone, he calmly unplugged it. Then he walked over to where they were sleeping and picked up another phone that was next to one of them.
The post disclosed that the sales representative and the boutique owner were both oblivious to the theft, which took place directly in front of them.
Thankfully, a CCTV camera in the store captured the entire incident, including the suspect’s face.
