Blessing Okoro, a self-proclaimed relationship expert, was apprehended in Alagbon by men from the Nigeria Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID).
The controversial internet personality who recently made headlines for wearing a risque outfit on a date night was arrested this morning at her home.
While it is unclear why she was arrested, there is speculation that it is related to the case of popular Lagos businessman IVD and his late wife Bimbo.
Following Bimbo’s death, Blessing Okoro took to social media to support businessman IVD, who has been accused by the family of murdering his late wife, Bimbo.
Blessing declared in a series of posts that, contrary to the narrative promoted by Bimbo’s family, IVD was the victim of domestic violence during his marriage to Bimbo.
She claimed Bimbo had physically abused her husband several times prior to her death and had always threatened to take their lives.
The Lagos State government has already charged IVD in court, but Blessing was arrested this morning.
