Augustine Amedu Obiabo, a.k.a. Blackface, is a Nigerian singer who has called for the reunion of his former group, the Plantashun Boiz, which included Faze, 2Face, and himself.
On his Instagram page, Blackface made this recommendation and stated that he wanted peace to rule, emphasizing that strength comes from unity.
He wrote:
“Plantashun Boiz, the question now is to be or not to be and why? @fazealone @official2baba.
“My people, oya make una talk put mouth for this matter! We are on a mission for world peace and it’s not a small thing!
“Unity is strength and not division. Let’s go champs.”
In 2004, Plantashun Boiz parted ways following the release of their second album, “Sold Out.”
The band came back together for their third and last album, “Plan B,” in 2007 before breaking up once more. He disclosed in 2017 that he and 2face had made up following their protracted, multi-year feud.
