Vice President Kashim Shettima has urged Nigerians to evaluate President Bola Tinubu’s leadership fairly, highlighting the President’s efforts to improve the country.

Speaking at a town hall meeting organized by the Presidential Enabling Business Environment Council (PEBEC) at the State House in Abuja, Shettima emphasized that the current economic challenges are part of a global phenomenon and not solely due to the President’s actions.

Shettima described President Tinubu as a leader with robust ideas and exceptional leadership capacity, asserting that the country has never had such capable leadership. He urged Nigerians to support the President and criticized those who mocked Tinubu’s fall during the 2024 Democracy Day event at Eagle Square in Abuja.

Regarding PEBEC, the Vice President praised the ministers and heads of agencies for successfully implementing the 120-day Regulatory Reform Accelerator Action Plan. He noted that at least 10 out of 36 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) achieved 100% success in implementing the plan. Shettima encouraged these agencies to maintain their momentum and continue to build on their achievements.
