Following dating rumors, Afrobeats Superstar Ayra Starr has cleared the air about her relationship with colleague Rema.
As Mavins Records artists, the duo has a working relationship.
They also have a close friendship that has been interpreted as a romantic relationship because they share social media posts about each other.
However, in an interview with Chito and CYD on KISS FM Kenya, Ayra Starr revealed the nature of her relationship with him.
When asked about dating Rema in the video, The ‘Rush’ Crooner appeared visibly shocked.
Ayra Starr said that contrary to what many people may think, Rema is like a brother to her.

Ayra Starr arrived in Kenya on Wednesday night ahead of the highly anticipated ‘Shoke Shoke’ Festival at Nairobi’s Kenyatta International Convention Centre (KICC).
The ‘Rush’ Hitmaker will perform at the festival, which is set to take place on March 3rd and 4th, 2023.
She will perform alongside award-winning rapper Khaligraph Jones, Mejja, The OnlyRosa, and Boutruoss at the Festival.
