A young woman has sparked widespread debate on social media after declaring that she will not perform traditional household chores for her future husband, insisting that her priority is wealth creation and business growth.
In a viral video making the rounds online, the lady explained that tasks such as cooking, cleaning, and laundry can easily be outsourced, freeing her time to focus on entrepreneurship and building financial independence.
“For crying out loud, our house is going to be so big, you don’t expect me to enter the kitchen when I could pay for a chef,” she said. “You don’t expect me to do laundry or clean the house when I could hire services.”
According to her, marriage should be a partnership where both parties contribute meaningfully, rather than one spouse being burdened with domestic responsibilities. She argued that in homes with sufficient resources, handling chores that can be delegated is unnecessary and even counterproductive to long-term success.
The woman, who described herself as an aspiring billionaire’s wife, also spoke about her online store, which she hopes will one day grow into a global brand comparable to Amazon.
“Me and my husband are going to be multi-billionaires, so why worry over things we can outsource?” she said. “If you find yourself washing, cooking, taking care of the kids as a girl, you have nothing to offer. Loyalty should be enough.”
She further emphasised that by hiring chefs, housekeepers, and laundry services, couples can focus on expanding their businesses, growing wealth, and securing a comfortable future.
Her comments have since triggered mixed reactions online, with some applauding her modern, business-focused mindset, while others criticised her remarks as dismissive of domestic roles and unrealistic for most marriages.
