Another setback for NNPP as Niger deputy governor candidate resigns

Alhaji Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, the NNPP’s presidential candidate, suffered yet another setback when Mr. John Bahago, the party’s deputy governorship candidate in Niger State, announced his resignation.

According to VisioTalks, the party’s Kaduna State chairman resigned from his position on Thursday because, in his opinion, the party has gone off course.

Speaking at a news conference in Kaduna on Thursday, Kure stated that although he still has a great deal of respect for Kwankwaso, he was no longer interested in joining the party because it “is not fully on ground in Kaduna State.”
