Anger-filled online critics have taken to Prime Video to severely criticize Yvonne Jegede’s recently released film, “A Father’s Love.”
A few days prior, she had commented on Yul and May Edochie’s marital crisis on a podcast.
Remember from the podcast interview where Yvonne supported Yul Edochie’s decision to wed Judy Austin? She did so by comparing his circumstances to those of Regina Daniels and Ned Nwoko.
Social media users dragged Yvonne Jegede after her comment about May Edochie felt; for disrespecting and trivializing her marital difficulties with her comments.
Despite Yvonne’s apology, May Edochie’s admirers flocked to Prime Video to criticize Yvonne’s movie.
A screen grab showed how the movie’s rating dropped dramatically in just one day, from 5.2 to 2.9.
One @judy_obasiyul_autism shared the screenshot and wrote:
“Thank you soo much to everyone who made this possible. We are not comrades for nothing. We managed to bring down her movie rating from 5.2 to 2.9.. Hoping tomorrow it will be 1 rating.
The lowest rating a movie can ever be. We did that.”
