A Nigerian lady has gone viral after sharing her unexpected encounter with a wealthy stranger in Abuja.
According to the X user, identified as @freakin-snow, she met the man at Wuse Market, where he was driving a Mercedes-Benz GLE 450.
How It Happened
In her viral tweet, she explained that the man offered her a lift, but she declined, saying her ride was only a few minutes away. He then asked for her name and phone number. She gave him her name but refused to share her contact.
“He offered to drop me, I declined and told him my ride is few minutes away. He proceeded to ask me my name and phone number — I told him my name but refused to give him my line,” she wrote.
The Shocking Twist
About an hour later, she received a call from the same man. He allegedly admitted to getting her phone number by bribing her driver.
Things took an even more surprising turn when he credited ₦500,000 to her Opay account and sent her a message on WhatsApp.
Disturbed by the situation, she asked for his account details to refund the money, but he reportedly refused to provide them.
“I told him to send his account so I can send the money back that I’m not interested, he refused. I had to block him immediately cos he’s older and definitely a married man,” she stated.
