Five years after having a daughter together, they got married in December of 2019.
On Thursday, 9ice shared beautiful photos of himself and his wife on his Instagram page, revealing that they had been friends for more than ten years.
He noted: “12 years of friendship, 3 years married, forever to go…Eru to ju owo elo, Abeeni my no 1 cheerleader, my source of motivation and strength. Thanks for being a part of my life. My lovely wife. Happy Anniversary [sic].”
The musician compared his relationship to two unperfect pieces that fit together perfectly in another post. He wrote, “Cheers to two imperfect pieces that fit perfectly together,”
After having a daughter together for five years, the couple got married in December 2019. After having their daughter in 2014, 9ice and Sukanmi’s relationship soured, but they made up and got back together in 2019.
