In the Edun neighborhood of Ilorin, Kwara State, a 43-year-old man named Kazeem died tragically after plunging into a domestic well while under the influence of a drug known as “Colo” (Colorado).
The incident happened on Friday morning, just after Kazeem returned from Eid prayers. After being made aware of the situation, Kwara State Fire Service emergency personnel hurried to the scene.
At approximately 10:29 a.m., a distress call was received stating that a man had fallen into a well at the Alapo compound in Edun, Ilorin, according to Fire Service spokesperson Hassan Adekunle.
nFirefighters were sent out right away and were able to retrieve Kazeem’s dead body from the well.
Kazeem was allegedly under the influence of the drug “Colo” when the incident occurred. His body was turned over to the local police department for additional examination while family members formally identify and claim it.
