A video on X (formerly Twitter) confirmed that the anti-kidnapping squad in Oyo State had captured a group of four kidnappers.
A man’s voice is heard in the video identifying the suspects, whom he says are kidnappers.
Despite their composed manner, he notes, the people are the true offenders, not the victims.
“These guys look as though they’ve been kidnapped, but they are the kidnappers,” he says in the video.
The man also provides additional details, including the names of the individuals involved in the operation and the group responsible for the arrest.
As the post circulated online, concerned individuals flooded the comment section, sharing their thoughts and reactions to the development.
See some reactions below:
@CAnochiwa: “Ask them where they kept all the ransoms they have collected.”
@papiJayIvieDenz: “They’re out the streets by dawn, all this show aint necessary cos y’all know the end from the beginning. Mute them no need 4 all this broadcast.”
@Leedani7: “Southerners fail to comprehend the task that is paramount. These hunters know their card is effective, rather than do what is needed; the recipient of chaos are uploading clips.”
@GregNwadinobi: “They would have given them a sound slap one after the other one both jams.”
