The user, identified as @onlyfadek1 on X, revealed that her relationship began when a man accidentally sent ₦500 to her OPay account.
According to her, the man reached out shortly after the error to request a refund, which she willingly returned. However, what started as a brief interaction didn’t end there.
They began talking occasionally over the phone, which gradually turned into frequent conversations. Before long, those calls blossomed into genuine feelings, eventually leading to a romantic relationship.
In her words:
“I met my partner because of ₦500 😭 He mistakenly sent it to my account and asked me to send it back. I told him ‘no problem’ but we started talking small. ₦500 turned to daily calls, calls turned to feelings.”
