A man reportedly declined a scholarship to study engineering in China after his girlfriend threatened to end their relationship because of the distance.
This information was revealed in a post that went viral on the well-known social media site X (formerly Twitter).
Thinking back on a similar experience, the man disclosed that his girlfriend had threatened to break up with him if he accepted the scholarship.
He shared his decision in a post, saying, “I rejected a scholarship to study engineering in China 🇨🇳 because my girlfriend at the time told me she’d break up with me because of the distance. So, I chose VUT instead. We broke up three months after rejecting the offer.”
